ABOUT THE ARTIST

SMALL CREATURES and SMALLER WORLDS

Lacey Stinson makes art against the background of the north Louisiana hills.  Working out of his home, he creates warm, playful, and softly detailed drawings of inventive little worlds.  His shadow box frames embrace the bright and intriguing pencil works rendered on cottony paper.  The pieces in this show are a few of the original renderings from his published works—five poetry chapbooks and two children’s books.

Stinson collaborates with short story writer Debra Faircloth and poet Ben Rogers.
